A client walked into our office and requested for a cartoon character cake because she is planning a big 2nd birthday party for her son, Daniel. His favourite cartoon character is spider man. We then set out to make his birthday dream come true.
Designing character cakes is fun. It is also fun to have an idea in your mind, draw it on paper and create it in the bakery. It is fun to see the excitement on your client's face when they come to pick their orders. Daniel was really excited to see his hero right in front of him. His mum was also impressed.
This particular one is a Coconut Cake with butter cream, and with training you can make it too.
